Generative AI Applications Engineer (Agents & RAG)

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Generative AI Applications Engineer to design and deploy production-grade GenAI applications for U.S. federal agencies. You'll build agentic workflows and RAG systems focused on reliability, privacy, and safety, working across the full development lifecycle from concept to operational deployment.

What you'll do

• Design and ship mission-grade GenAI applications including agentic workflows and RAG systems optimized for low hallucination and tight latency
• Own end-to-end delivery from use case evaluation through production deployment and operational excellence
• Conduct LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, and policy design for federal applications
• Collaborate with product, security, data, and SRE teams to ensure safe and scalable feature deployment
• Optimize for reliability, privacy, safety, and cost metrics in confidential federal programs
• Integrate GenAI solutions with existing platforms and infrastructure
