Generative AI Applications Engineer (Agents & RAG)

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Generative AI Applications Engineer to build secure, production-grade AI applications for federal government missions. You'll design and deploy agentic workflows and RAG systems with a focus on reliability, low latency, and safety—shipping working solutions in weeks rather than months.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy agentic workflows and RAG systems optimized for mission-critical federal environments
• Evaluate use cases and guide end-to-end path from concept through production deployment
• Develop prompts, policies, and LLM evaluation frameworks to minimize hallucination and ensure reliability
• Partner with product, security, data, and SRE teams to ship features safely and at scale
• Optimize for latency, cost, and operational excellence in production systems
• Own integration of GenAI applications with existing platforms and infrastructure
