Linux Engineer
About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Linux Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance Linux systems supporting classified federal missions in Tampa. You'll manage advanced HPC/GPU compute, containerized workloads, virtualization, and secure storage across hybrid infrastructure while ensuring compliance and mission reliability.
What you'll do
- Deploy, configure, secure, and maintain RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Ubuntu systems across classified and unclassified environments
- Administer hypervisors (ESXi, KVM) and troubleshoot full-stack infrastructure from bare metal through application layers
- Build and orchestrate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including AI/ML pipelines
- Operate and optimize HPC/AI clusters with GPU compute, performance tuning, and job scheduling
- Manage high-performance storage systems including VAST NFS/S3 and Liqid composability platforms
- Collaborate on system hardening, patching, compliance (DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, RMF), and operational documentation
