About this role

Twitch's Enterprise Platform & Technology team seeks a Software Engineer II to bridge SAP enterprise systems and AWS cloud infrastructure, building integrations, APIs, and AI-powered automation for Finance operations. You'll split time equally between SAP backend development (ABAP, CDS, OData) and AWS-native services (Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock agents), owning solutions end-to-end across both ecosystems.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain SAP integrations with downstream systems using ABAP, CDS views, and HANA SQL across the full lifecycle
  • Build and operate SAP APIs (OData, REST, SOAP) for external consumption and AWS middleware connectivity
  • Deploy AWS-native services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and infrastructure using CDK to extend SAP capabilities
  • Design and ship agentic AI systems using MCP servers, Bedrock agents, and Claude workflows to automate Finance workflows
  • Build data pipelines moving financial data between SAP, Redshift, and enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
