Network Security Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network security solutions for the Department of Education Program. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices into cloud environments and mature zero trust capabilities.

What you'll do

• Design and implement network security architecture in cloud environments
• Maintain and enhance security solutions on Zscaler SASE, Akamai, and cloud-native products
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for network security
• Collaborate with network, cloud, and infrastructure teams on security integration
• Troubleshoot network security tools and services
• Develop documentation for security protocols, compliance, and incident response plans

• Network security (5+ years)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
• Zero trust architecture
• Security frameworks (NIST, CIS, CISA)
• Risk assessment and vulnerability analysis
• Technical communication and stakeholder management
• WAF and Akamai CDN (preferred)
