AI Solutions Engineer

About this role

As an AI Solutions Engineer at Affirm, you'll develop and maintain AI systems that enhance the People function, using a hands-on approach to address messy business challenges. The role involves collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to transform requirements into efficient production systems while managing the full software lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy AI agents, APIs, and applications on Affirm's internal platform.
• Translate business requirements into production systems and integrate with existing tools.
• Ensure AI systems run safely within security and data governance constraints.
• Design reliability infrastructure for AI services and manage quality controls.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to scope problems and make architecture decisions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production systems to keep them operational.
