Software Engineer II, Backend (Test Infra)
About this role
Affirm is hiring a Software Engineer II for their Test Infrastructure team to build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, CI pipelines, and testing tools that enable developer productivity across the organization. You'll own integration and E2E test automation solutions, optimize test execution, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve quality and testing practices.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain integration and E2E test automation frameworks and associated CI pipelines
- Design and implement solutions to optimize test execution time and enhance test stability
- Write technical specifications, ADRs, and collaborate on solution design across teams
- Support engineering teams with triage requests and share QA and automation best practices
- Contribute to evolving the company's overall test strategy
- Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure support
