About this role
Agero seeks a Big Data Engineer to design and maintain core data infrastructure supporting analytics and financial operations. You'll build ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and AWS, implement dbt-driven Medallion architecture, and ensure data governance while supporting an ERP migration to Workday.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and AWS
- Design modular data models with dbt Core following Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate financial workflows into reliable data solutions
- Enforce data governance, security, and RBAC controls for financial data protection

- Optimize Snowflake queries and monitor cloud costs for efficiency
