About this role

Alarm.com is hiring a DevOps Engineer to manage and automate their hybrid infrastructure supporting data platforms, messaging systems, and applications. You'll work hands-on with Kubernetes, cloud environments, and enterprise technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake while collaborating across engineering and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

  • Support and automate enterprise data platforms and messaging infrastructure across on-premises, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
  • Maintain reliability and performance of systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Redis, and relational databases
  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and deployment automation
  • Design and maintain observability solutions including monitoring, alerting, logging, and telemetry
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and participate in on-call incident response
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on security compliance and access management
