Civil Project Engineer

About this role

Benesch seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to join its aviation group in Denver, designing airport infrastructure projects including pavement, drainage, utilities, and fuel facilities. The role involves developing plans and specifications, managing design teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and occasional field construction observation.

What you'll do

• Design airport infrastructure elements such as pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting, security, and fuel systems
• Lead quality control reviews of project design calculations and documentation
• Compile and coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction pay items
• Oversee task work plans and provide technical direction to assigned team members
• Conduct field construction observation and coordinate technical meetings among design staff
• Assemble complete design packages for assigned project elements

• AutoCAD and Civil 3D modeling proficiency
• FAA design standards knowledge
• Project management and team leadership
• Written and verbal communication

• P.E. licensure in Colorado or ability to obtain
