Allen Control Systems, a defense startup building autonomous gun turrets, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with electrical expertise to oversee cable assembly, quality standards, and testing on the production floor. You'll bridge design and manufacturing, ensuring high-reliability electrical systems meet IPC standards and perform in the field.

What you'll do

  • Own cable and harness assembly processes, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and labeling
  • Enforce IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610 quality standards for electrical assemblies and PCBA handling
  • Troubleshoot intermittent electrical faults and wiring anomalies to identify root causes
  • Design and operate go/no-go test stations for harness and sub-assembly verification
  • Manage and calibrate electrical assembly equipment like crimp presses and continuity testers
  • Improve electronics integration by ensuring secure PCBA mounting and protected wiring routing
