About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop embedded software for high-reliability systems across aerospace, medical, and automotive sectors. You'll work through the full product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with functional safety standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software from concept through product release and ongoing support
- Create and manage software requirements with complete traceability across the development lifecycle
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded software on target hardware and simulated environments
- Develop verification strategies and test plans to validate functional and performance requirements
- Perform root cause analysis on software defects and implement corrective solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support customer and regulatory audits
