Environmental Validation Engineer

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Environmental Validation Engineer to oversee product validation activities for automotive vision systems, from initial customer specifications through final acceptance. The role combines planning validation strategies, managing test execution across multiple global locations, and reporting results to stakeholders while ensuring quality and efficiency standards.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed validation plans and test specifications based on customer and internal quality requirements
• Coordinate test execution using lab equipment including thermal chambers and IP testing, with support from lab technicians
• Manage validation planning, resource allocation, budgets, and logistics across multiple test locations globally
• Lead FMEA generation, design reviews, and problem resolution activities with cross-functional teams
• Generate test reports, track validation status, and communicate results to project teams and customers
• Collaborate with Methods & Tools team to develop test environments and automate validation processes
