About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment in Weirton, West Virginia. You'll work cross-functionally with operations and quality teams to drive process improvements, support equipment deployments, and scale production from prototype to high-volume operations.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and production equipment
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support equipment commissioning and startup
- Conduct data analysis and shop floor observations to identify process improvement opportunities
- Support manufacturing scalability from prototype through full-volume production
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, quality, and technician teams on continuous improvement
- Participate in production line launches and equipment qualification activities
