About this role

LaunchDarkly seeks a Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical advisor for corporate and mid-market customers, guiding them through the sales lifecycle from discovery through proof-of-concepts. You'll translate complex requirements into tailored solutions, conduct demos and presentations, and act as a bridge between clients and internal teams to drive deal closure and expansion.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical sales engagements including discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects with prospects and customers
  • Translate customer requirements into customized technical solutions aligned with business and IT objectives
  • Conduct customer-facing presentations, demos, and technical whiteboarding sessions
  • Partner with account executives and internal teams to develop proposals and build deal champions
  • Respond to security questionnaires, RFPs, and serve as liaison between customers and product/engineering teams
  • Travel to customer meetings and industry events as needed
