Solutions Engineer
About this role
LaunchDarkly seeks a Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical advisor for corporate and mid-market customers, guiding them through the sales lifecycle from discovery through proof-of-concepts. You'll translate complex requirements into tailored solutions, conduct demos and presentations, and act as a bridge between clients and internal teams to drive deal closure and expansion.
What you'll do
- Lead technical sales engagements including discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects with prospects and customers
- Translate customer requirements into customized technical solutions aligned with business and IT objectives
- Conduct customer-facing presentations, demos, and technical whiteboarding sessions
- Partner with account executives and internal teams to develop proposals and build deal champions
- Respond to security questionnaires, RFPs, and serve as liaison between customers and product/engineering teams
- Travel to customer meetings and industry events as needed
