Manufacturing Test Engineer
About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to design and deploy automated test systems for production environments. You'll develop scalable test architectures, integrate hardware and software solutions, and support factory expansion and new product introductions across aerospace, medical, automotive, and EV manufacturing sectors.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable manufacturing test architectures and automated test equipment for production environments
- Develop test software, operator interfaces, and automated workflows supporting manufacturing operations
- Integrate data acquisition systems, sensors, PLCs, and communication interfaces with test equipment
- Connect manufacturing test systems with MES, databases, and factory automation platforms
- Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams on new product introductions and production ramp activities
- Troubleshoot and support reliable, production-ready test solutions in high-volume manufacturing
