Supplier Quality Engineer
About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer for onsite work in Carson, CA to oversee PCBA production and delivery from a strategic supplier. You'll conduct manufacturing and quality surveillance, manage supplier performance, and ensure products meet technical specifications and delivery commitments.
What you'll do
- Monitor production planning and execution against delivery commitments and priorities
- Identify manufacturing constraints, material shortages, and production risks
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities for compliance
- Manage non-conforming products, rework, and corrective action implementation
- Track supplier performance metrics and escalate issues impacting delivery or quality
- Follow up on production recovery plans and verify timely action completion
