About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an experienced Technical Support Engineer to deliver expert-level problem resolution for complex heavy-duty truck issues. This role requires strong electrical systems expertise, diagnostic capabilities, and leadership skills, with regular customer engagement and travel.
What you'll do
- Provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for field-reported vehicle system issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot using data acquisition tools and technical analysis
- Conduct quality investigations, implement containment actions, and validate corrective solutions
- Support dealers and customers through direct engagement and onsite visits as needed
- Manage large-scale technical cases with minimal supervision and track issues via ticketing systems
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members while collaborating with engineering and quality teams
