Test Engineer – Power Electronics Compliance

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Test Engineer to execute compliance and validation testing for power electronics products in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. You'll verify regulatory compliance, analyze test data, develop Python automation scripts, and collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure products meet safety and performance standards.

What you'll do

• Execute compliance and validation testing for power electronics and inverter-based products using established test plans
• Perform hands-on testing with specialized electrical equipment in ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory environment
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify deviations from compliance requirements
• Produce detailed technical documentation, test reports, and validation records for certification
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate test execution, data collection, and reporting
• Troubleshoot hardware and test failures using systematic root cause analysis and collaborate with engineering teams
