Software Engineer - Business Analytics

About this role

Havoc seeks a Junior Software Engineer for Business Analytics to build internal dashboards, data pipelines, and automation tools that streamline operations across the company. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical software solutions, leveraging AI-assisted development and rapid prototyping to solve ambiguous problems.

What you'll do

• Design and build dashboards, reports, and internal applications to support business decision-making across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and GTM
• Develop data pipelines, scripts, and integrations connecting HRIS, ATS, CRM, finance systems, and internal databases
• Translate business questions into data models and queries; automate manual spreadsheet-based workflows
• Use AI-assisted development tools to rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions while maintaining engineering standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data accuracy, gather feedback, and improve tool usability
• Support data quality, documentation, and repeatability across business-critical analytics and reporting processes
