Test Tool - Developer / Integrator

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Test Tool Developer/Integrator to design, develop, and deploy hardware and software test automation solutions for validating automotive and advanced engineering products. This hands-on role involves collaborating with global teams to build test benches, manage hardware resources, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Review automation requirements and design test solutions following client architectures
• Develop and integrate hardware and software for test benches (HIL, validation, EMC, CI/CT systems)
• Manage hardware procurement, inventory control, and deployment coordination
• Estimate costs and effort; create and maintain automation coverage schedules
• Support test bench development, deployment, and maintenance at Troy and customer locations
• Ensure quality, validation, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements

What they're looking for

• LabVIEW and TestStand (mandatory)
• Programming languages (Python, C++, CAPL)
• Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Ethernet, TCP/IP, and network configuration
• A2B and analog audio experience
• Vector CANoe (desired)
• Linux OS (desired)
• RF testing or image processing/computer vision (desired)
