About this role
AnaVation seeks a Malware Reverse Engineer to analyze and understand malicious software threats at their Annapolis Junction, MD facility. This role involves deep technical investigation of malware behavior and security vulnerabilities to protect systems and support defensive operations.
What you'll do
- Analyze malware samples and reverse engineer code to understand attack mechanisms
- Document findings and create technical reports on malware behavior and vulnerabilities
- Support incident response and threat analysis efforts
- Collaborate with security teams on mitigation strategies
- Develop detection signatures and indicators of compromise
- Perform static and dynamic malware analysis
