About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a C++ engineer to design and build high-performance tracking algorithms and real-time software systems for air and missile defense radar. You'll develop production-grade solutions that process massive sensor data streams and track dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets, collaborating with radar engineers and customers to deploy mission-critical defense systems.
What you'll do
- Design and implement advanced multi-target tracking algorithms for air and missile threats
- Develop high-performance, real-time C++ software to process radar data and maintain tracks on numerous simultaneous targets
- Build and leverage modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end systems
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical, millisecond-sensitive environments
- Communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams, leadership, and customers; participate in field tests and demonstrations
