About this role
Lead the technical and programmatic execution of advanced missile systems (Barracuda and Roadrunner programs) at a defense technology company, overseeing design, fabrication, testing, and deployment. Own the complete lifecycle from concept through customer delivery while managing multidisciplinary teams and aligning technical vision with business objectives.
What you'll do
- Direct technical and programmatic execution of missile design, fabrication, test, and productization across full lifecycle
- Establish technical vision, assemble expert teams, and communicate strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct system trades and optimization while managing requirements, risk, schedule, and cost constraints
- Oversee detailed design of systems and subsystems including sub-tier trades and performance parameter balancing
- Coordinate prototype and production fabrication efforts plus system-level testing and validation
- Support remotely deployed field operations and work with leadership on resource allocation
