Chief Engineer, Intelligence Systems

Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to provide senior technical leadership on defense intelligence systems in Reston, Virginia. This role involves setting technical vision, managing cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring successful delivery of autonomous systems and integrated platforms for military applications.

What you'll do

• Lead interdisciplinary teams across software, hardware, robotics, and testing to develop integrated autonomous systems
• Define system architecture and establish technical standards for major defense projects
• Conduct root cause analysis of failures and coordinate resolution across engineering teams
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
• Serve as technical subject matter expert for customer engagement and on-site support
• Travel up to 25% to conduct testing, integration, and deployment at test ranges and customer sites
