About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead technical strategy and execution for advanced spacecraft missions focused on space control and rendezvous operations. You'll oversee the full lifecycle of integrated hardware and software systems—from architecture and design through flight delivery and on-orbit operations—while managing multi-disciplinary teams and strategic partnerships.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership and system-level oversight across spacecraft subsystems, payloads, and ground segments
- Lead engineering lifecycle from early architecture trades through flight hardware delivery and on-orbit commissioning
- Drive technical execution and architecture development for space control and dynamic RPO missions
- Develop technical strategy and roadmap leveraging Anduril and new technologies for customer mission areas
- Manage technical oversight of program phases including SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, testing, and delivery
- Mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams and ensure technical integrity across all program disciplines
