Field Test Engineer, Maritime

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Field Test Engineer to support autonomous undersea vehicle (AUV) operations and testing in maritime environments. You'll manage equipment preparation, conduct system inspections, coordinate field deployments, and provide feedback to engineering teams while working in demanding offshore conditions.

What you'll do

• Prepare and kit AUV test equipment for field deployments
• Perform daily AUV inspections, system checks, and operational testing
• Coordinate vehicle launch/recovery operations and document test results
• Execute maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades in the field
• Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures and user documentation
• Assess operational risks and provide feedback to design teams
