Forward Deployed Engineer, Mission Autonomy

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy and support advanced autonomy systems for military defense projects worldwide. You'll provide end-to-end technical operations, field maintenance, and customer support while troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and networking challenges in demanding environments.

What you'll do

• Deploy and support Mission Autonomy systems globally, including hardware setup, software configuration, and field maintenance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues in real-time and drive them to resolution
• Conduct incident response root-cause analyses and implement preventive measures for defense systems
• Administer Linux systems and manage containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) across products
• Train and coach teammates on system operations and guide customers through product troubleshooting
• Communicate field issue status to internal and customer teams and advise on operational logistics
