Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a GNC Engineer to develop guidance, navigation, and control systems for cutting-edge aerospace platforms including autonomous aircraft, missiles, and unmanned vehicles. You'll design and test safety-critical flight systems from concept through operational deployment, working across the full development lifecycle with simulation, analysis, and hands-on flight testing.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement GNC algorithms and architectures for autonomous aerospace systems
• Design, optimize, and assess complete GNC systems using MDAO techniques
• Conduct simulation, analysis, and testing to verify system performance across operating conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including systems engineers, software engineers, and test engineers
• Participate in design reviews, safety assessments, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve GNC-related issues throughout development and flight testing phases
