About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Integration & Test Engineer to lead structural testing for Omen, an autonomous tail-sitter aircraft. You'll own all aspects of structural validation from materials characterization through full-scale testing, working in a fast-paced environment where designs fly within months.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute structural tests including coupon, element, and full-scale programs with static and dynamic loading
- Develop proof load and ultimate load test programs for primary airframe structures (wings, fuselage, nacelles, stabilizers)
- Coordinate with structures analysis team to validate FEA predictions against test results
- Design instrumentation plans using strain gauges, displacement transducers, load cells, and Digital Image Correlation
- Support Ground Vibration Testing and aeroelastic characterization through surrogate platform testing
- Maintain configuration control and test data traceability for airworthiness certification
