About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead the integration, assembly, and testing of complex electromechanical defense systems. You'll design test campaigns, conduct environmental and performance validation, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver mission-critical hardware.
What you'll do
- Oversee mechanical design and physical integration of complex subsystems and assemblies into larger architectures
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and custom fixtures for functional and environmental testing
- Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures
- Collaborate with electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams on interface definition and verification
- Generate comprehensive test reports, assembly instructions, and engineering change requests
- Refine integration and test methodologies to improve efficiency and manufacturability
