About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to lead supply chain strategy and cost optimization for defense technology hardware. You'll manage supplier relationships, drive design collaboration, develop manufacturing BOMs, and execute cost engineering across product lifecycles in a fast-paced defense tech environment.
What you'll do
- Conduct supplier selection and manage strategic supplier partnerships for product development
- Develop manufacturing BOMs and coordinate production ramp with internal and external manufacturing partners
- Execute value-stream mapping and supply chain optimization to reduce lead times and improve flexibility
- Lead cost engineering activities and total cost of ownership analysis across product lifecycles
- Manage component qualifications, BOM risk assessments, and supplier rationalization initiatives
- Handle ad-hoc cost challenges including tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation management
