About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to develop behavior control systems for teams of autonomous drones and robots. You'll design behavior trees and state machines, integrate autonomy with robotic peripherals, and coordinate multi-robot missions for defense applications.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement behavior trees and state machines for autonomous robot teams
  • Build software integrations between autonomy stacks and robotic sensors, flight controllers, and radios
  • Develop multi-robot coordination software for complex mission outcomes
  • Solve cross-functional problems in networking, autonomy, and systems integration
  • Travel up to 25% to test, debug, and deploy systems in operational environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed systems to ensure reliability
