Structures Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Structures Engineer to design and validate advanced structural systems for defense technology platforms. You'll lead complex mechanical design projects from concept through testing, leveraging CAD, FEA analysis, and materials expertise to create mission-critical components in demanding environments.

What you'll do

• Design primary and secondary structures using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) for high-performance defense applications
• Perform comprehensive FEA including static, dynamic, thermal, fatigue, and vibration analysis to validate design integrity
• Select materials and manufacturing processes (machining, additive manufacturing, welding) meeting performance and cost targets
• Support prototype fabrication, qualification testing, and data analysis to refine designs
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams on integrated solutions
