Systems Engineer, Spacecraft Operations

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Spacecraft Operations Systems Engineer to manage satellite operations and mission control centers for advanced space systems. You'll develop mission procedures, ensure fleet health and safety, and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver resilient, software-defined spacecraft capabilities for DOD and intelligence community customers.

What you'll do

• Own mission operations plans and procedures for spacecraft across all orbital regimes
• Develop and implement modern, autonomous spacecraft operations approaches
• Collaborate with spacecraft design, flight software, and ground systems teams to test and improve capabilities
• Create monitoring metrics, triage issues, and coordinate root cause analysis
• Train operators on spacecraft systems and coordinate with end-users to translate requirements into features
• Support testing, launch windows, and on-orbit operations; manage regulatory compliance (FCC, NOAA)
