Systems Integration Engineer, Air Vehicles

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to design and integrate advanced mechanical systems for Group 5 unmanned air vehicles and missile platforms. The role spans the full development lifecycle from concept through flight testing, requiring expertise in avionics integration, CAD modeling, structural analysis, and military aerospace standards.

What you'll do

• Integrate avionics and mission systems within aircraft through cross-functional collaboration
• Create and manage 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and large assembly models using Siemens NX
• Conduct structural analysis, FEA simulations, and hand calculations to validate designs against requirements
• Lead design reviews, develop test plans, and manage vendor relationships
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition designs to production
• Support customer demonstrations and travel to test sites as needed
