Training Simulation Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Training Simulation Engineer to build web-based training environments for military system operators. You'll design full-stack features, integrate simulations, and create tools that help customers learn to operate Anduril's defense technology platforms.

What you'll do

• Build full-stack features for trainer scenario construction and deployment
• Integrate flight simulations and emulators for robot representations
• Develop NPC logic for realistic scene environments and adversary behaviors
• Create scalable, customizable modules for diverse customer needs
• Design instructional tools and video guides for non-technical users
• Mentor engineers and identify opportunities to improve training infrastructure

• TypeScript, React, and RxJS
• JavaScript/TypeScript web application development
• CMI5/xAPI and Learning Management System integration
• Backend programming (C++, Rust, or Go)
• Modern algorithms and data structures
• Automated testing and version control
• CI/CD systems and Bazel build tools
• gRPC/protobuf technologies
