About this role

Anthropic seeks a Finance Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure powering their quote-to-cash lifecycle. You'll own both homegrown production applications and integrations across Zuora, Stripe, Workday, and other financial platforms, writing Python and JavaScript while automating complex month-end close workflows.

What you'll do

  • Architect, develop, and maintain internal finance applications and administer third-party platforms like Zuora, Workday, and Tesorio
  • Build and maintain integrations across the finance stack including Zuora, Stripe, NetSuite, Salesforce, and BigQuery
  • Design auditable, observable, and SOX-compliant system integrations with robust error handling and recovery
  • Automate manual, error-prone workflows in month-end close processes with tested, production-grade solutions
  • Translate business requirements from Finance, Revenue Operations, and Order Management teams into scalable technical designs
  • Develop observability and continuous delivery infrastructure for reliable and frequent finance system deployments
