Software Engineer, Production Platform
About this role
Join Aquatic's Engineering team to build and operate the production platform that deploys code, models, and data into global live trading systems. You'll own deployment pipelines, build tooling, observability infrastructure, and work across Research, Execution, and Trading Operations to eliminate operational toil and ensure reliable, scalable systems as the firm expands globally.
What you'll do
- Own deployment and build systems that move code and models from development into global live trading with automated dependency resolution and safe rollbacks
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build approval workflows, and promotion systems that enable confident production deployments
- Extend deployment orchestration and scheduling infrastructure across regions with consistent regional parity
- Build observability tooling to help engineers and researchers understand what is running, what changed, and what failed
- Automate manual operational processes in partnership with Research and Trading Operations teams
- Improve production reliability through alerting, failure handling, and recovery mechanisms
