Archer, an electric aircraft manufacturer in San Jose, seeks a Flight Test Instrumentation Manufacturing Engineer to manage the planning, manufacturing, and installation of test instrumentation systems for their eVTOL aircraft. This role oversees build integration, works with design teams, and ensures timely, budget-conscious completion of flight test hardware activities.

What you'll do

• Plan manufacturing and installation of flight test instrumentation hardware on experimental and production aircraft
• Lead build and assembly integration of aircraft flight test instrumentation systems
• Collaborate with design engineering to develop installation and assembly strategies
• Design instrumentation wiring, racks, air data booms, telemetry systems, and related hardware
• Manage make/buy decisions and vendor coordination for flight test equipment
• Develop procurement, installation, and checkout processes and documentation
