Board Design Engineer
About this role
Array Labs seeks a Board Design Engineer to develop printed circuit assemblies for advanced radar satellites, working across high-density digital and mixed-signal designs from schematic through on-orbit qualification. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver electronics that directly impact signal integrity, processing performance, and thermal management in a rapidly growing aerospace company.
What you'll do
- Design and lay out printed circuit assemblies for radar payloads and on-orbit processing systems, spanning digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF interfaces
- Develop electronic architectures, perform system trades, select components, and capture schematics for complex spacecraft electronics
- Lead prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, and test campaigns from design through manufacturing validation
- Collaborate with RF, antenna, digital, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure integrated performance
- Iterate on designs based on laboratory, environmental, and on-orbit testing results
- Manage manufacturing processes and ensure boards meet spacecraft-level requirements
