About this role
Array Labs seeks a Space Systems Engineer to design and develop advanced radar satellites for a constellation that provides real-time Earth monitoring. You'll influence the full system architecture from payload design through mass production and on-orbit operations, working in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes hands-on testing over lengthy documentation.
What you'll do
- Design radar satellite systems spanning payloads, structures, and formation flying architectures
- Conduct rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration cycles across the entire system
- Own technical interfaces and requirements throughout development phases
- Support transition from prototype development to proliferated production systems
- Contribute to on-orbit operations and mission validation
- Apply first-principles engineering to complex multi-disciplinary problems
