About this role

Join Ashby as a QA Engineer to blend manual testing expertise with growing automation skills using Playwright. You'll spend roughly 70% of your time on hands-on testing across a fast-growing product used by 100,000+ weekly active users, with the remaining 30% writing and expanding end-to-end test coverage alongside experienced SDETs.

What you'll do

  • Perform manual testing on features as they ship, deciding what to test and when based on product understanding
  • Reproduce and investigate customer-reported bugs, narrowing down issues with clear documentation
  • Write and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests, expanding test coverage across the product
  • Coordinate testing efforts across larger feature launches and product areas
  • Collaborate directly with engineers and stakeholders to catch edge cases and blind spots before production
  • Grow automation skills through pairing with SDETs and learning from engineering team
