Condition Monitoring Application Engineer

About this role

AssetWatch seeks a Condition Monitoring Application Engineer to bridge sales and technical teams by providing vibration analysis expertise and supporting the implementation of predictive maintenance solutions for industrial customers. This role combines technical problem-solving with customer engagement, including on-site data analysis, sales support, and collaboration with product development to expand condition monitoring capabilities.

What you'll do

• Support sales team as technical subject matter expert in condition monitoring and vibration analysis
• Analyze vibration and temperature data at client sites to assess machinery health and recommend maintenance actions
• Engineer customized solutions that align AssetWatch offerings with customer needs and improve trial conversion rates
• Build asset monitoring lists and optimize monitoring point configurations for customer trials
• Attend industry tradeshows to provide technical support and lead generation
• Collaborate with product development to expand and improve hardware and software offerings

What they're looking for

• Vibration data collection and analysis (3+ years experience)
• Vibration Category II certification or MLA/MLT certifications
• Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)
• Strong communication and customer discovery abilities
• Technical problem-solving and corrective action development
• Sales or account management experience (preferred)
• Customer-focused service delivery
• Data interpretation and analytical tools proficiency
