Join Astranis as an Environmental Test Engineer Associate for a 12-week salaried role supporting satellite hardware and software testing. You'll operate specialized environmental test equipment including thermal chambers, vibration tables, and EMI/EMC systems to ensure spacecraft components meet rigorous performance standards.

What you'll do

  • Operate and setup environmental test equipment (thermal chambers, TVAC, vibration tables, EMI/EMC)
  • Execute vibration, acoustic, thermal, and RF environmental testing according to test plans
  • Learn and use various testing instruments including oscilloscopes, DAQs, and thermal equipment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on satellite hardware and software development
  • Set up and conduct comprehensive environmental test procedures
  • Support the validation of hardware destined for space deployment
