MEP Engineer
About this role
fab2 is seeking a hands-on MEP Engineer to manage facilities operations, construction projects, and maintenance across multiple office and production spaces in Texas and California. This role involves coordinating large-scale builds, troubleshooting building systems, supporting lab teams, and handling day-to-day repairs in a fast-moving startup environment.
What you'll do
- Own construction and install projects from design through operation including electrical, mechanical, cabling, and process piping work
- Perform and coordinate daily facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
- Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility requirements
- Coordinate vendors and contractors for specialized work and escort them on-site
- Identify problems early, implement fixes, or escalate as needed to prevent escalation

- HVAC, MEP systems, and process equipment knowledge
