Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Attio seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with high-value customers, designing and implementing best-in-class GTM stacks centered on the Attio CRM platform. You'll architect custom integrations, lead implementation projects, and serve as a critical bridge between customers and the product roadmap.

What you'll do

• Deploy with key customers to architect tailored Attio configurations, data models, and integrations aligned to their GTM motion
• Lead time-boxed build projects delivering working solutions: integrations, workflows, automations, and SDK applications
• Design and execute custom API integrations and no-code automations using tools like Zapier, N8n, and Make
• Partner with Customer Success Managers as technical lead on shared accounts, identifying blockers and adoption gaps
• Gather customer insights and feedback to inform product roadmap priorities
• Create scalable engagement models balancing expert services with self-serve playbooks

What they're looking for

• 2+ years as a developer, GTM engineer, or technical solutions professional
• Deep GTM tooling expertise and understanding of sales, CS, and marketing workflows
• API integration architecture and live troubleshooting in customer environments
• JavaScript development with AI coding platforms (Claude Code, Cursor)
• No-code/low-code integration tools (N8n, Zapier, Make)
• Data infrastructure concepts (ETL, reverse ETL, CDPs, Segment, Rudderstack, Polytomic)
• AI landscape curiosity and early-stage experimentation mindset
• Technical communication and cross-functional collaboration
