Embedded Tools Engineer

About this role

Join the Embedded Tools Team to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure for autonomous vehicles and robots. You'll develop tools for embedded software quality assurance, work across hardware and software teams, and support firmware deployment systems for cutting-edge robotics technology.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and hardware-in-the-loop systems for embedded software
• Create testing, diagnostic, and management tools for embedded systems
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams on system integration
• Monitor and improve infrastructure performance and stability
• Provide technical support to development teams on CI/CD processes and builds

• Python (async, pyserial, python-can, smbus2)
• CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions)
• Modern build systems (Bazel, Nix)
• C++ firmware debugging
• Bash scripting
• Communication protocols (CAN, UART, Ethernet, I2C)
• Electrical schematic interpretation
• Problem-solving and ownership
