QA Engineer – AV Behavior Simulation Testing

About this role

Join the Simulation Testing team to validate autonomous driving software through comprehensive virtual scenario testing. You'll design and execute test cases, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AV safety and reliability before real-world deployment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement structured testing plans for new features and bug fixes
• Develop detailed test checklists and virtual scenarios
• Collect, organize, and manage datasets for testing
• Analyze test outcomes and document defects with clear reports
• Create safety metrics and performance evaluation frameworks
• Collaborate with Motion Planning, Prediction, Perception, and Control teams

What they're looking for

• Software testing (3+ years)
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving
• Test planning and prioritization
• Knowledge of traffic rules and driving regulations
• Python or other programming languages (preferred)
• Vehicle dynamics or sensor technology understanding (preferred)
• Autonomous vehicle testing experience (preferred)
• Report writing and documentation
