About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to embed within a strategic law enforcement agency, owning end-to-end customer outcomes by designing and deploying AI-powered workflows, automations, and integrations on the Axon platform. You'll work onsite 3-4 days weekly, translating operational problems into production solutions while driving adoption and measuring mission impact—not managing relationships or delivering presentations.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents, workflows, automations, and integrations directly solving agency operational problems
- Maintain consistent onsite presence (3-4 days/week) to discover pain points, iterate with real users, and troubleshoot production issues
- Assess agency workflows, define success metrics before deployment, and measure adoption impact across teams and sites
- Lead operational transformation by moving agencies from reactive support to proactive outcome-driven solutions
- Capture field insights and patterns to influence product roadmap and create reusable playbooks across accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales to resolve issues and identify expansion opportunities
